The start!!!! The foundations being dug in May 2005. An old Georgian water tank was found and had to be dug out taking three lorry loads of concrete to fill.

The scaffolding goes up. This was very nearly forgotten and
DTM Group of Bodmin put it up on Saturday having received the order at
5pm Friday!

The 40 ton crane makes light work of lifting the steel and
panels over the scaffolding and into place.

The roof goes on. The 18mm ply is an important structural element and is nailed, glued and then screwed.

This huge lorry turned up with the plaster from France and a Polish driver who spoke no English. He became totally stuck in the Devon lanes - it took 3 hours to free the lorry!
